Synopsis:

KINGS AND QUEENS is about a chess game played between two people with each strategic move igniting or stifling possibilities between them.  

Filmmaker Bio:  

 

LISA SEELINGER (Director/Writer/Producer/Camera/Editor) is an award-winning filmmaker originally from Fairview, Pennsylvania.  She currently resides in Cleveland, OH where she works as a Director at WEWS TV-Channel 5.  In 2004,
she began her own production company, Seelinger Productions, and started her first comedic feature film, "Missed Cues".  In 2005, it was completed and became an Official Selection in the GLFF and the NewFilmmakers Series 2007 in NYC.

In 2007, she completed her second film, a dramatic short titled "Kings and Queens", which is nominated in the GLFF for "Best of the Fest".  It has also won an award in The Indie Gathering Film Fest in Cleveland OH and is an Official Selection in the Independents' Film Fest where it will be
televised.

Lisa's current project is a feature film thriller titled "Shutter".  It will wrap shooting in September 2007 and is slated to be completed by April 2008.


Her hope is to get her work seen by as many people possible, and to be able to make filmmaking a full-time career.
