Synopsis:

I wait for your call.
All depends on the rise and fall of your breasts, voluptuous echo
of your heartbeat, loudest at the left ventricle where your desires cross the Rubicon
of your blood rivers, shooting flares
over arterial wall deep into your memories' mirror neuron
as Meenakshi, fish-eyed goddess of Madurai, now of London.

Please call urgently before my plane takes off from Gate W1
stop heaven's engines smash
tectonic plates pushing the Ocean’s brain into the Schizophrenic wrath of Tsunami,
frothing white, bombs falling,
earth defiled again to be redefined in ash.

Inspired by poetry based on Hindu Mythology, the film depicts the value of true eternal love in our fractured world. The film juxtaposes the classical and the contemporary to reveal something we all know – how only the total return of man to spirituality i.e.- Shakti to Shiva, can bring peace.

Abhineet Gogne is a young filmmaker from India. He has a deep interest in and understanding of International, Hollywood and Indian Cinema. He is also a musician with wide-ranging influences. An “Honours” graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering, he has previously worked with several multinational organizations.

“I believe that the purpose of the Cinema is to act as a Mirror for the Audience to look within themselves; to serve as an Instrument for Self-Realization; instead of being just a Window into a Meaningless Fantasy land where the Audience can escape for Mindless Entertainment. The Purpose of the Cinema in fact is the Purpose of all Art-Form, as it is of all Religion. “
