Synopsis:  

A young man fantasizes about serenading his dream girl with a violin and having her fall in love with him. He then comes to the realization that his crush already has a boyfriend and the violinist's jealousy drives him to drastic measures.

Filmmaker Bio:  

Sara Huslig is a 25 year old filmmaker from Lawrence, KS. She is a recent graduate from the University of Kansas earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Film.

Sara has made several music videos and stop motion animations in the past, all shot digitally, that have gone on to win regional awards and recognition. With dreams of becoming a film composer, Sara has a real eye and ear for the combination of music and imagery.
Serenade is Sara's first work shot on film and her official directorial debut.
