Sam's unique guitar style, soulful voice, and rapport with audiences make him a sought after regional performer. A seasoned singer/songwriter, he evokes powerful emotion through his music.

Sam's music has been distributed worldwide on such diverse record labels as Warner Brothers UK, Australia's Edge Music, Elektra Records, East/West Records, and Korea's Zu Records. Sam is also a featured composer with Belgium's Stock Music, and since 2003, his vocal performances have been part of Hot Ice, the Stage Works production running April through December at Blackpool's Pleasure beach, Lancashire, England. He is also a composer on staff with Northstar Music Publishing in London, England.

In 2001, Sam's music reached it's first international audience when his song "FLY" was chosen as the title cut of the debut release of Elektra Record's artist Dante Thomas, produced by Pras (Fugees, Ghetto Supastar). In addition to achieving gold status in several countries, FLY has been featured in episodes of  Popstars on the WB Television Network, Nickelodeon's Slime Time Live, and in the summer of 2002, FLY was selected by Britney Spears as that year's official song for her summer camp for children.

In 1992 Sam was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in music composition and theory from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. In the spring of 1994 he released his first solo disc, That Same Thing. Throughout the 1990's, in addition to regular performances, he produced original music for several national and regional radio and television commercials. In 1997 Northwestern PA's Rocket 101 (WRKT-FM) added two songs from Dive, Sam's second solo release to their regular rotation schedule.

Sam continues to perform regularly, and is currently working on his fourth disc for commercial release in the summer of 2006.
