The Grave Diggers
Written by: Colin Fox

Chris, a local artist, commits suicide. The story is centered around his three friends John, Patrick and Michael digging his grave (a practice still performed today in rural Ireland). John was especially close to Chris, and he finds it hard to let go but, something happens to reassure him Chris will always be there.

Bio:

I was born and raised in Dublin Ireland and I’m currently living with my wife and two children in a towns land in rural Ireland Leamonaghan near Ballycumber village. I work for a multinational company where I’m the Marketing Manager for Scandinavia and Central Europe. I’ve been writing for a year now and my feature script “The Company” is currently working its way through the festival scene. I’m very proud of my short script “The Grave Diggers” and hopefully it will be made in 2010. I look forward to showing the finished work in next year’s festival.
