Synopsis:  

GRUESOME, a short horror film written and directed by Gregory Lamberson, is based on his upcoming novel JOHNNY GRUESOME, which will be published as a signed and numbered, limited edition hardcover by Bad Moon Books in October.  Lamberson is best known as the writer and director of the midnight movie cult classic SLIME CITY , and as the author of the novel PERSONAL DEMONS, winner of the Anubis Award for Horror.

GRUESOME tells the story of John Grissom, a heavy metal rebel who is murdered and returns from the grave as vengeance craved zombie—Johnny Gruesome, the Headbanger from Hell!  The short film is an extended music video starring Erin Brown (aka “Misty Mundae,”) the star of dozens of sexploitation films.  It also features the songs “Monster,” “Gruesome,” and “Death Mobile” from the companion rock CD GRUESOME, written by Gi asone and Marcy Italiano, who appear in the Mini Movie.
