Founding of The Great Lakes
Film Association
Being an independent film
producer, director, and writer, I noticed how much of a demand there is for
film festivals throughout the world. With the help of others we have decided
that Erie, Pa is a wonderful location for a film festival. The scenic area
along with it's historic background made Erie a perfect choice. In this day
and age many of the top industry professionals come to Pennsylvania to create
their films.
The Great Lakes Independent
Film Festival was founded on the idea to showcase the creations of independent
filmmakers and to enhance the culture and prosperity of the Great Lakes
Region.
