1000 Mary's

Category: Narrative Short  3min
Director: Christina Gruppuso

1000 Marys is an exploration of iconography of the Virgin Mary from Early Christian to Modern painting. The way your eye would travel over a single painting, the camera travels over hundreds of images of Mary, discovering the many ways artists have revered her smile, hands, eyes, and the baby Jesus himself.
