Her life was a
living hell. Repeatedly molested as a child but afraid to tell
anyone, "Tina's Story" recounts the obscene physical
and psychological abuse that took her on an out-of-control
emotional roller coaster until she died at age 15. This is her
story. In her own words. Director Bobby Livingston’s
“Tina’s Story” documents the life of a young south Texas
girl who suffered years of abuse at the hands of her father.
Exposing the painful secrets of her life, a narrative of her
diary chronicles Tina’s emotional turmoil. “Tina’s
Story” has a proven powerful impact, inspiring other victims
of sexual abuse to seek help. The ten-minute film was
funded in part by a grant from the San Antonio Area F

After eleven years of distinguished work in Hollywood , Bobby
Livingston moved to San Antonio to become president of Shootz
Production Group. Within three years, Shootz became nationally
known as one of South Texas ’s most creative production
companies. Led by his innovative directorial work on public
service documentaries, Livingston won several prestigious awards
for his hard-hitting films about rape, eating disorders and
domestic violence. His most recent project, “Tina’s
Story”, has received both local and national recognition.
Four of Livingston ’s films have aired nationally on PBS and
in 2001, he was named a “Rising Star” by the San Antonio
Business Journal.
