Vengeance is the second short film by Brian Belefant. The first was Burning Passion, a story about a man who ejaculates fire, which earned prizes at eight of the 17 film festivals it showed at, including Best Directorial Debut at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. Both films are united by their exploration of belief.
Mr. Belefant is a writer, director, and photographer, and has recently applied for a patent on a camera filtration system he invented. Although he hasn∂t shot any films using his proprietary camera filtration, he'd like to. He recently directed a Volkswagen commercial that demonstrates what motion picture film can look like when you stick his filtration on the lens. (You can see the spot, as well as some of Mr. Belefant's other work, at www.samplereels.com.)
