FleshEater
By dusk the remaining kids barricade themselves
in an abandoned house in a desperate attempt to save
themselves from the killer hunger of the cannibalistic
corpses. Their feeble differences prove useless. They
are overrun by friend-turned-fiend and FLESHEATER
alike. Only BOB and SALLY avoid the onslaught and
escape the carnage unharmed. And the FLESHEATER leads
his assembly of the animated eaten into the night.
A
'family in an isolated house prepares for Halloween.
A thud brings the little girl to the door ready
to hand out candy. She opens the door and stares
at the silent form outside. "Wow!" she
says, "You forgot to say 'trick or treat'! The
FLESHEATER growls and moves forward.
BOB and SALLY
enter a stable and are surprised by a farmer. He
doesn't believe
their story, but appreciates their obvious terror. He takes them to his house
to call the police. In his house the television is on and a newscaster speaks
of "unconfirmed reports" in which the dead are-eating the living.
The farmer calls to his wife and her lifeless, torn body comes to him. Hungry.
other
minions of the FLESHEATER burst into the room. The farmer throws himself
between the undead invaders and BOB and SALLY allowing them an opening to escape.
The farmer is decimated.
BOB and SALLY's fear fraught flight bring them
to a Halloween party in a barn. The costumed party-goers
think BOB and SALLY are crashing
the party and pulling a prank. Slowly, the undead enter the room.
At first the partiers think they are more party crashers. Then
comes the blood bath. BOB and SALLY hide themselves from the flesheaters. But not from their victim's screams.
With dawn comes the police and a massive posse of
angry, frightened farmers. They surround the barn
and begin to shoot down the wandering corpses. BOB
and SALLY exit their hiding place and dash to the
awaiting
police outside. To the posse, BOB and SALLY are another set of fleeing
monsters. They are shot down like the rest. The
police
chief
decides to burn the entire barn down, flesheaters and all. The inferno
rages into the night.
Days later the rubble of the barn still smolders. Silence. No movement.
No sound. Then: ashen wood stirs. Something rises
from the wreckage. Could this
be THE
RETURN OF THE FLESHEATERS?
