Forced Entry
Category: Narrative Short 06 min: 20 sec
Director: Brooke Anderson
'Forced Entry' involves a STRANGER mysteriously breaking into a home on a thunderous stormy night. In the kitchen, the faceless Stranger slides a knife from the collection, stopping to snack from the chocolate covered strawberries displayed on the bench. Making his way upstairs, he spies a COUPLE fast asleep in bed. The stranger proceeds to rummage through the office looking for 'something' ñ swiping loose change into his pockets and cutting lamp and audio/video cables. The Stranger then enters the bedroom, stealthily approaching the bed. He suddenly jumps on the HUSBAND, tying him to a side chair. The Husband tells the intruder to take their money as the WIFE looks for an 'object' to attack back. The Stranger pounces on her before she can react and binds her to the bed post. From the husbands view point, it looks like the stranger is kissing his wife's neck. The Stranger suddenly springs off into the bathroom as the Husband takes the opportunity to tell his Wife to comply with the intruders wishes, and not to fight back; that their lives are at stake and to 'Be strong honey' as he loves her. The appalled wife retorts that the Stranger was asking where the Vaseline was, he thought her husband was cute; she then retorts 'Be strong honey; I love you too!'
