A story of one's environs, 'Departing Once Again' is loosely based on a poem by Justin Vitiello from his book SUICIDE OF AN ETHNIC POET / SUICIDIO DI UN POETA ETNICO. The film is a combination of hand-drawn and 2D computer animation techniques. Scott developed 'Departing Once Again' throughout his final year at Edinboro University and finished the film in October 2005, six months after graduation. This is Scott's first short film.
