Director: Matt Detisch In a small, quiet city, on a night like any other, a woman is brutally murdered while walking to her car. Shannon Solo stars as Jack Talon, a middle-aged detective assigned to assist with the investigation. As the hunt for the killer grows stronger, the clues lead Talon toward a dark place he never expected to go: home. Shot on location in Erie, Pennsylvania by local filmmaker Matt Detisch (Axe Murder Hollow, Episode on South Street), The Wolf at the Door is a violent, emotional, and devestatingly real journey into one man's darkest hour. "I wanted to make a movie that doesn't fit easily into any one genre," said Detisch, who wrote, produced, and directed the movie. "It's a cop movie, a family drama, and a violent thriller rolled into one. My goal was to make a movie that on the surface is a relatively straight-forward police procedural, but as certain things occur in the story, the film turns on a dime into a very serious, very emotional story about a family torn apart by death and divorce."
