Marshall Cook

Marshall doesn't remember his first acting experience. He was only 18 months old performing in Mid-Summer Night's Dream at the Santa Rosa Junior College (that's in Northern California). His niche for directing came at age nine when he got his hands on his father's Hi-8 camcorder and VCR. He made films like The Gorilla Hunter, Julius Ceasar (a modernized version), and Crisis in Rose Town; the first gang movie ever to be made in the Wine Country. Marshall's shorts were so well received, his news broadcasting professor in high school asked him to produce one sketch comedy per week for Newman News.

He then went to Occidental College, where he played quarterback for the football team, and graduated a semester early, with a degree in filmmaking, and 16 more films under his belt as a director. As an actor, Marshall has gotten sick, or died in a number of television shows, including JAG and Medical Investigation. He jumped to the big screen with Jeepers Creepers 2, and appeared in 4 other films (one of which as a lead).

As a director, Marshall's latest baby, AdCorp, Inc. won "Best Short Film" in The Emerging Filmmakers Screening Series, in New York (he also produced, edited, co-wrote, and acted in the film). AdCorp continues to show in festivals around the country. Marshall is currently developing his first feature length comedy, which he intends to direct in 2006.
