Rick and Jennie were a happy couple until they came to Paris, where she surprised him with an abrupt break-up. Unable to speak the language, Rick wanders aimlessly through the French capital, its streets swarming with couples in love. His path leads him into the Park of Versailles, where he finds himself locked in after hours. His many attempts at getting out prove unsuccessful and he must resolve to spend the night in the park along with an angry French cabbie and a confused Japanese student, who are also locked in with him. Unable to communicate, the three strangers decide to ignore each other while they wait for someone to open up the gates the next morning. When a sudden rainstorm rainstorm breaks out over Versailles, they are left with no other option than to try and help one another, as best as they can.
