Would You Cry if I Died

Director- Bob Pondillo
Category- Narrative Short
RT-10m 23s

Peggy and Denny - a contemporary, young, suburban, recently married couple - talk about life, love, and death as they move about their home one morning. The film opens with Peggy looking at old wedding pictures of long-dead relatives and contemplating the possibility of her death and its consequences. She's neurotic, loveable, and funny 'with an overactive imagination.' Denny, on the other hand, is witty, sexy, a bit clueless, and is 'creeped out by all this death talk.' With vivid, poignant dialogue, and likeable characters the story ends in a surprising, unexpected twist. The movie ultimately asks: 'Have I made an impact in your life? Have I touched your heart? Has my being here meant anything to you?' In the last analysis, 'Would You Cry If I Died?' is a bittersweet story of ... life.
