2006 Films • 2006 Film Festival D Director- Yoh Komaya Anjo is a life insurance sales agent who takes her clients and their money very seriously. One day she meets a potential client named 'D' who tells her he has the ability to spot a lie when he sees a peculiar light in the eyes of the liar. D proves this by exposing the lie Anjo tells him, which turns out to be the doorway to a massive web of deceit. When he discovers she has been threatened by Shin, one of her clients, D becomes concerned. He confronts Shin, only to end up discovering Shin's lie about his relationship with Anjo and the deeper secret he and Anjo share. Determined to find out the truth behind their past, D goes on to meet others who seem to have pieces of the puzzle. As D follows the lies of everyone he meets, he gets closer to the heart of the truth, and more and more people become victims of his ability...
