The Great Lakes Film Fest Is Proud to Announce Terry Moore as our special Guest of honor at the 2006 film fest. Terry Moore has starred in more than sixty movies, received an Academy Award nomination, won the Best Actress Award at the Mannheim Film Festival, and done more live television dramas and comedies than any female star. She has headlined shows in Las Vegas at the Flamingo and Union Plaza and has starred in nearly every summer stock theatre in the US. Terry was an extremely popular speaker on several cruise lines with her presentations on Hollywood stars past and present and her marriage to Howard Hughes, who taught her to fly and helped her become the third woman in the world to check out as a jet pilot.
Terry has a film production company with son Grant Cramer, a talented and award-winning writer/producer/director. They produced Beverly Hills Brats, with Martin Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg, and Second Chances – both of which Terry also starred in – and have a full slate of new films and television programs in development.
The Still Life explores the fragile separation between failure and success and love and tragedy through an artist who struggles to regain himself and his identity after giving in to conventional success. Written and directed by Joel Miller and produced through Albion Entertainment, Inc. the poignant drama stars Jason Barry (Titanic), Terry Moore (“Come Back Little Sheba”), Rachel Miner (“Bully”) and Don S. Davis (“Stargate SG-1”).

Special Guest 2006: Terry Moore
Terry stays very active. She has recently run the LA Marathon and has a book in the works on the way Hollywood’s greatest stars have maintained their health and looks. Her first two books on her life with Howard Hughes were both bestsellers, and a television mini-series is in development to tell the story on screen.
